I have checked with Brian at the Portuguese-American Social Club to hold our 3rd Annual Seed Swap for the Garden. We can have either Tues, Feb 19 or Thurs Feb 21, so I want those of you who think you can make it to decide which day! The Seed Swap is free and open to the public. You do not need to have seeds to swap to come, but we’d love to have you swap ’em if you gottem!
A quick note on seeds: Please give as much information about the seeds that you have. If these are seeds you collected from your own plants, please make sure they are not hybrid seeds. Hybrid seeds are not dependable. If you want to chance it, just be sure to tell the person you’re giving them to so they know it’s more experimental.
The Seed Swap is also where resident gardeners can sign the 2013 contract, yay! We should also have some speakers and maybe even a few snacks this time! What do you think?
We’re having a board meeting on the 26th, so I will be sending out the flyer & more information the last week of January.
