Please drop by the garden within the next couple days to help clean up after the storm. Use leaf bags as there are no garbage cans. Spread whatever remaining chips are hanging around. Weed around your plot AND your plot, please.
I’ll be down sporadically over the next few days. Friday will be an official work evening. If your plot has not been weeded or cared for by Friday, I’ll assume it has been abandoned. So please, get down there within the next few days.
Let’s have a potluck this weekend? What day works best for you? Saturday, Sunday or Monday?

Work Week, Work Evening 09/02
So that didn’t really happen. We only had five votes out of over 110 gardeners, and, well, figuring that it was Labor Day Weekend, I assumed too many people were out of town.

HI, I cleaned up the front area this afternoon, and will be doing more tomorrow. Also brought out some watering cans. The hose that leads to the far garden still spurts. I will try to tape it tomorrow. It seems that there are no more weed bags.
Keri I’m sorry someone asked me earlier if weeds go in the compost and I said “I think so”. From your email I guess I shouldn’t have told him that…and have been putting weeds in there myself….
